America Rising Delivers Hillary Clinton A Birthday Present

Another year, another celeb-filled birthday bash for Hillary Clinton. On Sunday night, the eve of her birthday, Clinton threw herself a birthday party/campaign fundraiser in midtown Manhattan that combined all the things she loves most in life: Hollywood celebrities, deep-pocketed donors, and thousands of her closest friends that paid up to $2,700 for the privilege of being in the same room as her.

To help Secretary Clinton ring in another year, America Rising wanted to give her something to make her evening more enjoyable. You may recall that when Secretary Clinton was still in the business of giving $250,000 speeches, her rider demanded private jets, presidential suites, and some very specific refreshments:

For the green room, Clinton’s representatives requested: “Coffee, tea, room temp sparkling and still water, diet ginger ale, crudité, hummus and sliced fruit.”

Clinton affirmed her love for crudité when she had a celebrity chef prepare the snack for her in the Hamptons this summer:

There, she has been enjoying the luxe life: celebrity Chef Katie Lee, the ex-wife of Billy Joel, earlier this week personally prepared a spread of fresh guacamole, roasted carrots and an assortment of healthy dips and crudité requested specifically by the Clintons.

Thus, we presented her campaign staff with the freshest of crudité platters to ensure she had hors d’oeuvre deemed acceptable for Clinton:

Here at America Rising, we hope that Secretary Clinton felt at home amongst the crudité and celebrities serenading her. This year, John Legend, Demi Lovato and Amy Schumer joined an elite group of entertainers who have performed for Clinton on her birthday – years past included Lady Gaga, Bono, Usher and Elvis Costello.

As New York and Hollywood elites gather to wish Secretary Clinton a happy birthday, America Rising is happy we could also be there to wish her well in the coming year and remind America of her elitist sensibilities – even if Clinton campaign staffers ultimately rejected our gift:
