Another No Good, Very Bad Week for Joe Biden

The Biden administration is still denying the reality of an ongoing crisis at the border, another Biden nominee is under scrutiny for inflammatory tweets against Republicans, and the President’s “gold standard” governor has found himself deeply embroiled in multiple scandals. Needless to say, it’s been another bad week for Joe Biden.

Reports are now showing a massive influx of unaccompanied minors crossing the border, but the Biden administration continues to bury their heads in the sand. Earlier this week, President Biden was briefed on the need for 20,000 additional beds at the border as his administration refuses to characterize it as a crisis.

It was “deja vu all over again” for anyone watching Colin Kahl’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Kahl was confronted by numerous Senators over his inflammatory attacks against Republicans on Twitter. Kahl’s response was suspiciously similar to Tanden’s, who ultimately was forced to withdraw her nomination.

Andrew Cuomo, also known as President Biden’s “gold standard” governor, has found himself further embroiled in scandal over his efforts to cover up the number of New York nursing home deaths. Governor Cuomo has also now had three women come forward to make deeply troubling sexual harassment allegations against him.

Remember: More than six weeks into his presidential tenure, Joe Biden has yet to hold a press conference to directly address the American people.
