A non-profit founded by failed Georgia Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is the subject of a recent ethics complaint. According to the Associated Press the non-profit, Fair Fight Action, “has paid for advertisements featuring Abrams and some of her travel and organized national watch parties when she delivered the Democratic rebuttal to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union.”

If Abrams decides to run for US Senate or jump in the 2020 presidential primary, this spending could violate FEC laws.

This is not the first time one of her non- profits has caused issues for Abrams. Last month the Atlanta Journal Constitutionreported that another organization, Third Sector Development, has had three tax liens filed against the organization in just the past year and another four between 2014 and 2016. The liens were only repaid shortly after the article was published.
