Bernie Sanders Doubles Down on Praise for Communist Dictator Fidel Castro

After sparking widespread outrage and condemnation from across the political spectrum, last night Bernie Sanders was given an opportunity to walk back his praise of communist dictator Fidel Castro.

To the horror of Democrats, he doubled down.

Chris Cuomo: “To the Democrats who say, ‘You don’t say good things about Fidel Castro. He destroyed freedoms in that country, he picked winners and losers and killed them and put them in prison forever. You don’t give him a pat on the back for anything.’”

Bernie Sanders: “Truth is truth. Alright?”

But praising murderous communists wasn’t the only controversial issue for Bernie during the CNN town hall. He was also pressed to explain the trillions of dollars in revenue he couldn’t account for in order to fund his ‘Medicare for All’ proposal.

Chris Cuomo: “It is not matching the price tag that some put at about $30 trillion … you get about half-way there, the question is how you get the rest of the way?”

Bernie Sanders: “Nope, we get there.”

No wonder Democrats are in a full-blown panic over Sanders solidifying his frontrunner status and his impact on down-ballot races.
