The Group Clinton Refused To Classify As “Terrorists” Now Most Deadly In The World

Tragically, Paris was not the only city visited by horrific terror in the past week. Boko Haram detonated a suicide bomb in the Nigerian city of Yola killing 32 people and wounding 80. This comes in the wake of news that Boko Haram has destroyed 1,100 schools in the territory they control this year alone. All told, Boko Haram and ISIS, the group Boko Haram has pledged allegiance to, were responsible for 51% of all claimed global fatalities last year according to a new Global Terrorism Index report. Overall, the report revealed an 80% increase in the amount of deaths from global terrorism in 2014, which can be traced in part to the horrible and short-sighted decisions that Hillary Clinton made when she was Secretary of State.

As Josh Rogin reported:

The State Department under Hillary Clinton fought hard against placing the al Qaeda-linked militant group Boko Haram on its official list of foreign terrorist organizations for two years. And now, lawmakers and former U.S. officials are saying that the decision may have hampered the Americangovernment’s ability to confront the Nigerian group that shocked the world by abducting hundreds of innocent girls.

Not only did Clinton’s State Department hamper U.S. efforts against taking the fight to Boko Haram, they actively “lobbied” against Senate legislation that would have applied that justified label to Boko Haram. For two years U.S. law enforcement agencies were “prevented… from fully addressing the growing Boko Haram threat.” With over 6,000 civilians killed by Boko Haram last year alone, Secretary Clinton must be forced to answer for her culpubility in allowing Boko Haram to grow unmolested by U.S. efforts.
