Brad Schneider Under Attack For Iran Deal Flip Flop
Illinois Democrat Brad Schneider is under attack for flip-flopping on the Iran nuclear deal to win his Democratic primary. Originally, Schneider vowed to oppose the Iran deal. But facing a competitive primary challenger from the left who was a strong supporter of the agreement, Schneider conveniently changed his position, and said he now supports it “100 percent.”
Schneider has already come under fire for investments in a company that did business with Iran. Schneider’s wife invested in Rio Tinto Finance, a company that allowed Iran to maintain a stake in its uranium mining operations.
Schneider continues to play politics with Iran, leaving voters to question his judgment on such an important national security issue.
