BREAKING: Hillary Clinton Loses The Michigan Primary
Hillary Clinton was just handed a stunning loss in the Michigan primary. Recent polling had Clinton leading Bernie Sanders (a 74-year-old self-avowed socialist) by 17 points in Michigan. Just a few hours ago, the Clinton campaign was confident they would still win:
Team Clinton starting to breathe sigh of relief, confidence grows in Michigan. They believe winning margin comes narrowly from Detroit.

CNN’s Jeff Zeleny reported that Clinton’s campaign thought Michigan would be a three-point win:
Upon looking at the exit polls, the question of which candidate is more honest and trustworthy continues to dog Clinton.

Democratic strategist David Axelrod pointed out that Clinton’s firewall is buckling a little bit:
AXELROD: We said the key is can he cut into her African-American support and can he build on the strong support he’s got in working class white communities. And looking inside these numbers, that’s appears to be what’s happening. She’s not running the same kind of numbers in the African-American communities. That she has in some of these southern states, which have been in the eighties, in some states even beyond that. It’s still formidable but modest. Her firewall is buckling a little bit.
With this loss in Michigan one thing is certain: Secretary Clinton remains a deeply flawed candidate, disliked even by voters of her own political party.
