BREAKING The FBI Expands Its Probe Into Hillary Clinton’s Private Email Server

This morning, Politico reported that the FBI has increased its inquiries into Hillary Clinton’s private email server. According to the article:

The FBI’s recent moves suggest that its inquiry could have evolved from the preliminary fact-finding stage that the agency launches when it receives a credible referral, according to former FBI and DOJ officials interviewed by POLITICO.

“This sounds to me like it’s more than a preliminary inquiry; it sounds like a full-blown investigation,” said Tom Fuentes, former assistant director of the FBI. “When you have this amount of resources going into it …. I think it’s at the investigative level.”

Fox News’ Ed Henry later reported that, “This report is suggesting wait a second, its [the FBI investigation] going beyond the security of the server and looking at whether or not people knew there was classified information.”

This report contradicts what the Clinton campaign has been telling donors over the past couple weeks, that the FBI investigation was focused on the security of the server and nothing more.

Despite Clinton’s best efforts to put these stories about her homebrewed email server in the rear view mirror, it would appear that this FBI investigation is here to stay.
