Clinton Admits She Has Same ISIS Plan As Obama
During an editorial board meeting with the Concord Monitor, Secretary Clinton was specifically asked if there was anything she would have “said differently or disagreed with” regarding President Obama’s address to the nation Sunday night about confronting ISIS.
Clinton replied that she was happy with the address and that she President Obama’s strategy “is close to mine.” See below:
“I was really happy that he made the address. I thought it was very important for him to address the nation. I think his take on what needs to be done is close to mine. I think we have to intensify and accelerate and really get the world behind us and that’s why I’ve laid out my own views on this. But I was very pleased that he addressed the country because people are scared.”
A recent CNN survey found 57 percent of Americans disapprove of President Obama’s handling of foreign policy. And by her own admission, Clinton not only agrees with his approach, but through her failures she helped craft many of the policies that led to the current situation in the Middle East.
In addition to owning the President’s failed ISIS strategy, Clinton made news on a number of other fronts during today’s editorial board. See below for more:
