Clinton Offers Little Specifics On How She Intends To Pay For $350 Billion College Plan
During a town hall event today in Exeter, NH, Hillary Clinton laid out her $350 billion college affordability plan. Before the event, Bloomberg’s Jennifer Epstein was asked how Hillary Clinton intended to pay for her plan. Epstein responded that Clinton’s campaign hasn’t offered any other specifics other than limiting some itemized deductions for the wealthy—a move many charities and nonprofits have panned in the past. When asked if Hillary Clinton intended to redistribute wealth as President Obama had promised, Epstein responded that “these ideas are very much in line with what has come from the Obama administration.”
At the event itself, Clinton neglected to mention how she would pay for her plan, leaving it to her aides to explain..
