Colorado Democrat Hiding From Hillary

Today, Colorado 6th District candidate Morgan Carroll was apparently a no-show for a Hillary Clinton campaign event in Denver – right in her own backyard. As Clinton desperately tries to unify a divided Democratic Party, Carroll has held out on endorsing her.

This comes as no surprise given Coloradan voters’ views of Clinton. A recent CBS News/YouGov poll found 38% of voters felt angry about Clinton’s campaign, 43% felt scared, and 20% felt bored. Additionally, 51% of voters said Clinton “can be too extreme at times.” Carroll must have also seen the heckling Michael Bennet experienced from Sanders supporters earlier this spring and decided to stay quiet.

Carroll owes it to voters to come out and say who she supports for president but her silence during Clinton’s visit today indicates she won’t be doing so anytime soon.
