CONFIRMED: The FBI Is Investigating Clinton’s Private Email Server
The FBI confirmed today the worst-kept secret in Washington, DC – it is investigating Secretary Clinton’s use of a private server as Secretary of State.
In a letter sent to the State Department by FBI General Counsel James A. Baker, the Bureau acknowledges they are “working on matters related to former Secretary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server.” The letter does not elaborate on the investigation further.
Last month, Clinton was asked by Jake Tapper if Clinton had been interviewed by the FBI. She replied: “No.” Given that we know former Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice have been contacted by the FBI on this matter, perhaps it’s time for a follow up to that question?
