Data Shows Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Panic Mode Is Real

Attentive television watchers may have noticed that over the past week, Hillary Clinton has been making the rounds on TV. It’s a noticeable change in behavior for Clinton, who from December 1, 2015 to January 11, 2016 conducted a mere 8 national TV interviews. And yet from January 12 to today (that’s one week), Clinton has taken part in 14 separate interviews. Not so coincidentally, the reason for this sudden uptick is likely due to two polls that were released on January 12th. The first was a Monmouth University poll that showed Clinton down 14 points in New Hampshire, and the second was a Quinnipiac poll that showed the once thought to be safe Iowa as a tossup.

This recent media blitz can only be seen as a desperate attempt by Clinton to prevent a repeat of 2008.

With today’s Monmouth University poll showing Clinton losing 7 points since December and Sanders gaining 11 nationally, don’t be surprised if Clinton begins hosting a primetime MSNBC show this week.
