Since Election Day, the Democratic Party has crashed from one crisis to another. Now it appears that one problem they’ve discovered is that their elected officials are incapable of normal human activities. At the Senate Democrats annual retreat, Democratic Senators were treated to a lesson on “how to talk to real people,” according to Politico:

“Former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear (D), along with Sens. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) and Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), held a session on ‘speaking to those who feel invisible in rural America,’ according to the schedule. Other sessions were along similar lines: ‘Listening to those feel unheard’ and ‘Rising America — They feel unheard too.’”

Even having a panel discussion on how to talk with a real person shows how out of touch and scared Senate Democrats are.
