Desperate New York Dem Has Terrible Fundraising Quarter
New York Democrat Dave Calone realizes he must be in trouble as his primary approaches, spending over $200,000, while he only raised $207,660. Spending nearly 97 percent of what he brought in this quarter is a very troubling sign for his campaign. Of the $200,000 spent, Calone spent nearly one-fourth of it on research, which almost certainly represents coming attacks on his primary opponent Anna Throne-Holst.
Calone received 60% of his itemized contributions from out of state. This fundraising news goes to show that Long Islanders are wary to support an out-of-touch venture capitalist who had an abysmal record on the Long Island Power Authority’s board of directors.
