Hassan’s Tax, Foreign Policy Positions Put Her At Odds With Voters During Debate

Maggie Hassan demonstrated she’s on the wrong side of the debate over taxes and Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy record during this afternoon’s U.S Senate Candidate Forum on Business and the Economy.

A recent Union-Leader editorial ripped Hassan’s double talk on taxes. Hassan likes to brag about business tax cuts in the New Hampshire budget. The only problem with that is Hassan vetoed that budget. Hassan was pressed repeatedly on that fact during the forum:

Additionally, when Hassan was asked to name a specific number for where she wants the federal corporate tax rate to be, she could only dodge that too.

Hassan also had no retort when Senator Ayotte dismantled her foreign policy talking points. After all, Hassan supports Hillary Clinton, the architect of many of President Obama’s worst foreign policy blunders:
