Help Me, I’m Poor: Dem Laughably Tries To Deny Personal Wealth

At last night’s primary debate in Illinois’ 10th District, moderator Lynn Sweet pointed out Brad Schneider’s immense personal wealth, a fact he was clearly uncomfortable with. Sweet noted, “Both of you are personally very wealthy. If anyone in the audience ever wants to get an idea of their enormous wealth, look at their personal financial disclosures.”

Schneider responded to Sweet’s point by saying, “Well first let me say we may have different interpretations of wealth.” As of 2014, Schneider’s net worth was estimated to be at least $11.71 million, making him the 35th richest member of Congress at the time. No wonder the moderator and the crowd erupted in laughter at such an out of touch answer about his personal finances.
