Here’s Why Your Fourth of July Festivities Are More Expensive This Year

Known for its firework shows, hamburgers on the grill, and good times with friends and family, July Fourth is a welcome celebration.

Unfortunately, this year’s Independence Day essentials have become more costly due to 2008 levels of inflation as a result of the Biden-Harris administration’s out-of-control spending.

The cost of beef for your Fourth of July cookout? Up 11.5 percent.

Buns for hot dogs and hamburgers? Up 30 percent.

Propane for the grill? Up 30 percent.

Gas for your holiday travel? Up 42 percent.

This is the real-life impact of Democrats’ big-spending agenda.

Wall Street Journal: “Many factors are driving the increases, including ultra-strong consumer demand and supply-chain bottlenecks. But behind many of them, many economists say, is a deliberate decision by policy makers in the U.S. and elsewhere to run their economies hot for now, with lots of stimulus, to ensure they recover fully from damage caused by Covid-19.”

Whitney Robertson, Press Secretary at America Rising PAC: “This is what happens when you willfully ignore the warnings of economists and basic common sense. While the Biden-Harris administration and their liberal allies are celebrating at the White House this weekend, Americans are paying for their tax-and-spend agenda out of their own pockets.”
