Hillary Clinton Hits Historic Rock-Bottom In NBC/WSJ Poll
A new NBC/WSJ poll brings troubling news for Hillary Clinton’s struggling campaign.Clinton has lost eight of the last nine Democratic contests, and this new poll shows that her awful favorable/unfavorable numbers are largely to blame:
“…a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds, with Hillary Clinton showing an especially steep decline over the past month. Among voters in both parties, 56% hold a negative view of Mrs. Clinton and 32% hold a positive view. That 24-point gap is almost twice as wide as in a Journal/NBC poll last month, when 51% viewed her negatively and 38% positively, a 13-point gap.”
In a single month the percentage of Americans who hold an unfavorable opinion of Clinton has almost doubled. This tsunami of negative opinion of Clinton also comes as more people have a favorable opinion of her Democratic opponent Bernie Sanders.
According to Morning Joe’s Mika Brzezinski, Clinton’s awful WSJ/NBC numbers are an historic low for her in this poll:
“Hillary Clinton has fallen to -24, her lowest rating since the poll began tracking her in January 2001.”
With the New York primary tomorrow Hillary Clinton’s record-setting disapproval numbers could not come at a worse time.
