Jack Conway Still “Proud” Of Obamacare
Last week Vice President Joe Biden called on Democrats to run on the Obama record. A major part of that record, especially for statewide candidates, is Obamacare. In Kentucky, Jack Conway, Democrat candidate for Kentucky governor, has made no qualms about supporting Obamacare. In a 2010 editorial board meeting he state he would have been “proud” to vote for it.
However, the implementation of Obamacare hasn’t been so rosy. Over the past few weeks a number of co-ops, including one in Kentucky, have begun to fail. Conway has called Obamacare in Kentucky “phenomenally successful” and didn’t back down his support in last night’s debate.
It is clear Conway is heeding Biden’s advice and continuing to run on Obama’s record.
