Joe Biden Loses Support from Law Enforcement As He Ignores Violence Against Police Officers

Despite spending most of his political career as a “union-friendly” Democrat, Joe Biden’s relationship with police has been shattered as he embraces an increasingly radical liberal agenda. According to new reports, Biden has been abandoned by leading police unions who accuse him of “moving left and going off the deep end.”

Via Politico: “But Biden’s call for more national policing reforms and oversight in the wake of the death of George Floyd — and the perception that he hasn’t shown enough solidarity with law enforcement amid the ensuing nationwide protests and unrest — have created a fissure with law enforcement groups, leaving many who once supported him frustrated by what they regard as political posturing by their one-time ally.”

In the few public comments Biden has made about the turmoil plaguing the nation since George Floyd’s death, Biden has consistently glossed over the widespread looting and violence – including the heinous murder of a retired St. Louis police captain. Both police union leadership and rank-and-file officers have taken notice. Paul DiGiacomo, president of the second-largest union representing New York City police officers, told The Daily Beast that Joe Biden has shown he is a “typical politician who goes whichever way the wind blows.”

While remaining largely silent on the violence perpetrated against law enforcement officers across the country, Biden continues to lurch to the left. As a result, he will continue to lose support from law-abiding Americans who support peaceful demonstrations and oppose the devastation caused by radical agitators.
