In March, Governor John Bel Edwards (D-LA) was exposed as an equal pay hypocrite. After holding an Equal Pay Summit, the Washington Free Beaconexposed the fact that Edwards was paying women in the governor’s office only 82% of what men in the office made:

“Salary data obtained through Louisiana’s Department of State Civil Service, however, shows that Edwards has his own gender pay gap, as women working in his office make just 82 cents for each dollar earned by men.”

You’d think after these revelations, Edwards would change his tone on the subject. Shockingly, Edwards continues to crusade on the issues as if he weren’t a gigantic hypocrite. Yesterday, Edwards said that Louisiana should be “embarrassed and offended” on equal pay:

In fact, it’s Edwards who should be embarrassed. Edwards’ incompetence and tax and spend liberalism have harmed Louisiana in countless ways. Perhaps fixing those issues should be where he focuses on, not his own equal pay hypocrisy.
