John Kerry: Obama Is Right, ISIS Is “Contained”
Just days after the horrific attacks in Paris, the Obama Administration is once again claiming that ISIS is “contained.” This time it’s Secretary John Kerry, who in an interview with CNN, stated that President Obama’s previous comments on ISIS were correct.
This only serves to highlight the Obama Administration’s continued ignorance of a group President Obama once referred to as the “JV team.”
The good news is that not all Democrats are buying the clueless spin that Obama and Kerry are trying to use to obfuscate their failed policies on Syria and ISIS. The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Dianne Feinstein had this assessment of ISIS’ current power:
“’ISIL is not contained. ISIL is expanding,’ Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said in an interview with MSNBC. ‘I’ve never been more concerned,’ she added, warning that the United States needs to ‘be prepared’ for a potential attack in light of new threatening videos… ‘There is only one way we’re going to diminish them, and that is by taking them out, because they are growing,’ Feinstein said. ‘They are on a march and it’s important to recognize this and prepare to deal with it with action.'”
“Expanding,” “growing,” “on the march” sure doesn’t sound like an ISIS that has been contained. Hopefully, President Obama and Secretary Kerry listen to Senator Feinstein’s call to “deal with [ISIS] with action,” because their current failed policies have only lead to turmoil and chaos.
