During tonight’s CNN town hall, Kirsten Gillibrand tried to dodge her way around the question of whether or not she supports eliminating private insurance. Her response: “You’ll have to see whether they want to compete or not. I don’t think they will.”
Yet in February, she said eliminating private health insurance is an urgent goal:
