Landrieu’s First 2014 Ad – Where To Start?
Mary Landrieu is going up with her first ad buy for her 2014 re-election campaign.
Landrieu is reacting to her dismal approval ratings, and leading experts saying she’s running in “a different world” than she did during her last re-election campaign
“‘It’s a different world than Louisiana was six years ago,’ said Bernie Pinsonat, a pollster in Baton Rouge. ‘We do not have Democrats who win anything in this state today.’”
The content of Landrieu’s first ad is still a mystery, but given her repeated declarations that she’s running on ObamaCare:
LANDRIEU: “I am going to run for reelection. I am standing in this election as a supporter of the Affordable Care Act—not because it is a perfect law but because it is much better for all the people I represent than what we had before—the wealthiest people, the middle-class people, and the poor people.”
LANDRIEU: “If they do not like the bill, they can change the bill. We did not wake up one morning and declare this the law. The people of the United States declared this through us as their Representatives. If they do not like it, they can unelect us. Believe me, they will have a great chance because I am up for reelection right now. They will be able to do that.”
Will she end her ad with “I Am For The Affordable Care Act. Period. End.”?
