Lynch Admits Her Meeting With Clinton “Raises Concerns,” But Refuses To Recuse Herself
At the Aspen Ideas Festival, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch faced tough questions from Jonathan Capehart over her decision to meet with former President Bill Clinton amidst an ongoing investigation in Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
Capehart asked, “What on Earth were you thinking? What happened?” Lynch admitted that her “meeting with him raises concerns.”
When pressed about recusing herself from being involved in the final decision that is made, Lynch said she has no plans to do so.
If she could do it all over again, Lynch said she would not meet with President Clinton again.
