Maine Senate Candidate Sara Gideon Exposed for Corporate PAC Hypocrisy

Like many Democrats across the country, Maine Senate candidate Sara Gideon has made rejecting corporate PAC money the centerpiece of her campaign.
But according to The Portland Press Herald, Gideon is “accepting donations from leadership PACs funded partly by corporate donations.” The Press Herald revealed Gideon has received $70,000 in contributions from leadership PACs.
When asked about the blatant hypocrisy, Gideon’s campaign told reporters that she was “too busy” to answer questions.
Sarah Gideon knows that her corporate PAC hypocrisy has been exposed, and avoiding questions will only ensure the issue continues to haunt her campaign.
