Americans are witnessing a border security crisis at the hands of an administration that refuses to admit there’s a crisis, while also refusing to visit the border to survey the problem. As migrant encounters continue to break records, the Biden Administration continues to turn a blind eye.

WSJ: “We’re apprehending people left and right,” said Border Patrol agent Jesus Vasalvilbaso, surveying a section of border fencing in downtown Nogales, Ariz., on a recent day.

While migrant encounters are reaching new heights, CBP has also noted a severe uptick in the rate of migrants on the terrorist watchlist attempting to enter the United States.

In addition to more members of the terrorist watchlist attempting to enter the country, fentanyl seizures have jumped by over 200% in July.

Fox News: Seizures of the deadly drug fentanyl jumped over 200% in the month of July, according to government figures released Monday — amid a continuing border crisis and widespread concern over overdose deaths.

Over 2,100lbs of the drug, which can be fatal in small doses, were seized in July. That’s the highest amount seized in at least the last four fiscal years. The largest seizure before July was in April, where 1,300lbs were seized. The 2,100lbs seized in July is up 202% from the 640 lbs seized in June and also eclipses the 780lbs seized in July last year.

Bottom line: It’s long overdue for the Biden Administration to put a stop to their open border policies, which have left border communities in turmoil and put American communities at risk.
