Nancy Pelosi’s Champagne Wishes And Caviar Dreams Come True
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has pushed for the Democrat Party to focus on one centralized message during the 2016 election: the Middle Class. Despite the message she hopes to get across about the middle class, Pelosi has a hard time relating to the trials and tribulations faced by most Americans. A new report from The Los Angeles Times shows that Pelosi is even more out of touch than most realized. Pelosi, one of the wealthiest members of Congress, has a minimum net worth of $29.3 million and is the fourth richest Californian in Congress (15th wealthiest member of Congress). What’s more, Pelosi lives a lifestyle that even Robin Leach would envy.
Pelosi and her husband own a luxurious, 65-acre Napa Valley estate and vineyard where they entertain billionaires. The estate, which is valued between $5 and $25 million, draws inspiration from Palladian villas. Besides its beauty, Pelosi also profits from the sale of grapes, which netted her at least $5,000.
A neighbor of the Pelosi’s even went so far as to comment on when the couple flocks to the estate:
“When all the black SUVs are circling around the property — like planes gathering over O’Hare Airport — that is when you know they are here.”
While everyday Americans struggle, Pelosi is sipping wine with billionaires on Zinfandel Lane.
