New Polling Shows Majority of Americans Disapprove of Democrats’ Leadership

The majority of Americans are not happy about the job this Democrat-led Congress is doing, according to a new Rasmussen poll. 

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 21% of Likely U.S. Voters rate the way Congress is doing its job as good or excellent. Fifty-four percent (54%) say it’s doing a poor job.” – Rasmussen Reports

This comes on the heels of a Quinnipiac poll last week showing 55 percent of Americans disapprove of President Joe Biden’s leadership of the border crisis, including a 55 percent disapproval among Hispanics and 64 percent among Independents.

It’s no secret Democrats have moved further to the left on issues like immigration, the environment, and judicial issues. Now, they’re facing backlash from the majority of Americans who do not support the radical ideas that have become the new pillars of the Democrat Party.

President Biden’s embrace of a virtually open borders policy has resulted in a record number of migrants surging to the southern border and complete chaos inside the administration when it comes to addressing the crisis.

And yet, Democrats are still calling for more radical policy changes such as abolishing ICE.

Democrats embrace of the left continues this week as Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) announced they are reintroducing the Green New Deal, a controversial proposal that was soundly rejected by Senate Democrats last time it was introduced.

“The vote was 57 against the resolution in the 100-member chamber, with 43 Democrats voting “present,” avoiding an up-or-down vote.” – Reuters

Democrats also continued pushing their radical anti-law enforcement agenda last week with a progressive leader in Congress advocating for an end to policing and incarceration.

Bottom line: The Democrats’ effort to push Americans toward their radical liberal agenda is failing.
