On Disastrous Email Presser Anniversary, America Rising Releases “Count The Clinton Lies”

One year ago today, Secretary Clinton held a press conference at the United Nations in New York. The purpose of the availability was to address what was then a new but growing problem for her not-yet-campaign: a New York Times report that she exclusively used a private email while serving as Secretary of State.

The press conference, which resembled more of a media cattle call, forever laid markers that Clinton would be measured against concerning explanations for her email scandal. Unfortunately for Clinton, the claims made on March 10, 2015 do not hold up to scrutiny on March 10, 2016.

The convenience of one device… government emails were automatically and immediately captured by the State Department… Clinton released her emails as part of a routine maintenance request… Clinton asked that all of her emails be released… All work-related emails were released… And of course, the whopper: “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email” …

Each and every claim above is not only false but easily refutable.

In addition to Clinton’s own abuse of power, it’s important to note her closest aides loyally joined her in sending and receiving classified information on the accounts. Check out America Rising’s latest infographic on Clinton’s email accomplices:

Happy anniversary!
