Reminder: ObamaCare Isn’t Enough For Russ Feingold

As ObamaCare “celebrates” its sixth anniversary today, former Senator Russ Feingold is hoping the President’s failed health care overhaul won’t make it to year seven – but not because of the broken promises, ballooning costs, and collapsing co-ops. No, Feingold actually believes that ObamaCare didn’t go far enough to ensure that the government controls Americans’ health care.

Sure, Feingold supported ObamaCare, bragging that he was “the deciding vote” for the bill and repeating President Obama’s lie that Wisconsinites could keep their plan and their doctor, but he’s always viewed it as a first step.

Just last month Feingold revealed that he’s still the out-of-touch liberal that Wisconsin voters kicked to the curb in 2010, admitting that he colluded with Democratic socialist Bernie Sanders to push for a radical single payer health care plan:

After all, why shouldn’t Wisconsinites facing premium hikes in 2016 and punishing out-of-pocket costs due to rapidly rising deductibles want to give the federal government even more control over their health care choices when it’s doing such a bang-up job?
