Ruben Kihuen: Clinton Scandal Apologist

One of today’s speakers, Nevada Democratic congressional candidate Ruben Kihuen, recently exposed just how far Democrats will duck their heads in the sand when defending Hillary Clinton. Earlier this month, Kihuen had the audacity to claim that Clinton “did nothing wrong” when she used a private email server as Secretary of State.

First, Kihuen’s comments are strongly contradicted by FBI Director James Comey’s statements. Director Comey faulted Clinton for being “extremely careless” handling “very sensitive, highly classified information.” He also stated that there was a strong chance “hostile actors” hacked Clinton’s email.

With that single comment, Kihuen also showed how much an out-of-touch politician he is. In poll after poll, the American people have overwhelmingly shown themselves deeply concerned with Clinton’s use of a private email server.

56 percent of Americans have said that they believe Clinton broke the law, with a total of 92 percent of Americans saying that Clinton was wrong to use a private email server. Additionally, since Director Comey’s statement, Clinton’s untrustworthy numbers are at an all-time high, with 67 percent saying that they do not find Clinton honest and trustworthy.

Subsequent to Kihuen’s outrageous comments on Clinton’s email server, he’s been “rewarded” with the former Secretary of State’s endorsement. All Kihuen had to compromise was his independence and critical thinking skills.
