In an interview last night, Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) attempted to distance herself from Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, saying “As you know, here in Arizona, we have a very different set of values that folks might have in urban San Francisco.”
If Sinema wants a different set of values in Congress, she should look in the mirror first. Sinema has voted with Nancy Pelosi 77% of the time since she entered Congress, and that is after she voted for Pelosi for Speaker in 2013. These facts might explain why Pelosi’s committees have donated over $20,000 to Sinema’s past campaigns.
Kyrsten Sinema may think she can fool Arizonans, but the facts show she is clearly in Pelosi’s camp in Washington.
