Strickland Fundraises In D.C. With VP Of Liberal Think Tank He Called His “Dream Job”
Tonight, Ted Strickland will head back to Washington, D.C. yet again for a fundraiser. Strickland has raised large amounts of his money from D.C. area donors, and has bragged of his fundraising tours that take him outside of Ohio before.
This time, Strickland will be fundraising with Arkadi Gerney, a Senior Vice President at the liberal Center For American Progress. Strickland was formerly the President of the Center For American Progress Action Fund, a position he now-famously called his “dream job.”
It’s alarming that Strickland’s “dream job” was one that prioritizes policies that are harmful to Ohio. From lobbying against coal, to pushing for control, and supporting ObamaCare, the Center For American Progress is out of step with Ohio values. But for Strickland, his “dream job” is apparently still paying his bills in the form of campaign donations. And if elected, Ohio voters will watch Strickland vote for CAP’s priorities over Ohio’s.
