Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) joined nearly all of their Democratic colleagues in supporting a radical abortion bill that would have codified Roe v. Wade, rescinded states’ individual pro-life laws, and allowed abortions on demand through all nine months of pregnancy.

Democratic Senate candidates in battleground states – such as Val Demings (D-FL), Conor Lamb (D-PA), and Tim Ryan (D-OH) – also voted in favor of the bill when it was brought to the House floor in September 2021.

National Review: “After the bill passed the House in September, National Review asked Representative Lamb, who’d ultimately voted for it, if there were any limits he could support on abortion late in pregnancy. ‘I think the right to choose is a right all the way through pregnancy,’ he said.”

According to a Knights of Columbus/Marist poll conducted earlier this year, 71% of Americans support restrictions on abortion. The poll also found that a majority of Americans want to return abortion decisions to the states.

Bottom line: Democrats could care less about addressing the problems everyday Americans are facing. They would rather spend their time pushing radical policies that have become the defining pillars of the left’s out-of-touch agenda.
