Dean Phillips’ Despicable Comments Show He’s Unfit For Congress

This week, Minnesota Democrat Dean Phillips showed his true character to voters in Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. Speaking about Senator John McCain, he made the indefensible comment that “it shouldn’t take brain cancer” for Senator McCain to “[show] a little bit of courage”:

While Phillips might have courage for someone in the gelato industry, Senator McCain has spent his life honorably and courageously serving his country. Phillips comments are unacceptable. While he’s already apologized, that’s not enough. He should be ashamed of himself for this outrageous statement.
