President Joe Biden left thousands of construction workers behind after signing an executive order during his first day in office to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline.
“It’s hard to make plans when you’ve got an administration that’s going to crush your future,” said one Keystone Pipeline worker after being laid off as a result of Biden’s executive order.
Others expressed fears that they wouldn’t be able to afford to send their kids to school or finish building a new family home because President Biden’s Keystone decision put them out of a job.
Fox Business: “According to a study from the State Department, 26,100 indirect and direct jobs would have come from the Keystone XL pipeline project, through its construction and supply chain that provides lodging, food and health care to workers in small towns across several states.”
And when asked what their message is to workers who have lost a job under President Biden’s radical energy agenda, the Biden administration encouraged them to just get a new one.
“They can be the people who go to work to make the solar panels,” said Biden’s climate czar John Kerry.
Biden’s Energy Secretary nominee echoed the same sentiment during her confirmation hearing saying some jobs may be sacrificed under President Biden’s energy policies.
Bottom line: Joe Biden has proven he will stop at nothing to implement his radical energy agenda, even if it means sacrificing thousands of American jobs in the process.
