Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib Wants to Abolish the Police

This week Democrats continued pushing their radical anti-law enforcement agenda with a prominent member of Congress advocating for an end to policing and incarceration.

Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib: “Policing in our country is inherently and intentionally racist. Daunte Wright was met with aggression and violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder. No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can’t be reformed.”

Tlaib joined Democrats across the country last year in calling for police departments to be defunded, including supporting legislation called the BREATHE Act. This bill included provisions to “shrink or close detention facilities, removing police from schools, abolishing police gang databases, eliminating court fees and forgiving all court debts, repealing all juvenile offenses.”

Bottom line: The Democrats’ attempt to abolish police is the natural next step in their crusade against law enforcement. It started with abolishing ICE and defunding local police departments, and is now culminating with a push to eliminate policing and incarceration altogether – which would put communities across America in grave danger.
