The Disaster in Afghanistan is a Direct Result of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ Incompetence

As President Obama’s former Defense Secretary Robert Gates famously wrote in his memoir, Joe Biden has “been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

The events that have unfolded in Afghanistan under the failed leadership of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have proven that statement to once again be true.

CNN: “President Joe Biden is struggling against an intensifying examination of his judgment, competence and even his empathy over the chaotic US exit from Afghanistan. And each attempt the administration makes to quell a furor that’s tarnishing America’s image only provokes more questions about its failures of planning and execution.”

The Biden-Harris administration’s Afghanistan exit has drawn sharp criticism from every side of the political spectrum as Americans and Afghan allies remain stranded under the brutal rule of the Taliban.

Not only did Joe Biden fail to adequately prepare for a Taliban takeover, he has:

• Blamed Afghans for his failures
• Forced American citizens to put their faith in the Taliban to evacuate the country
• Allowed U.S. weaponry to fall into the hands of the Taliban
• Ignored warnings from U.S. officials in July about the possibility of Kabul’s collapse
• Taken hardly any questions from reporters on his self-inflicted disaster

According to the Biden-Harris White House, they do not know how many American citizens remain in Afghanistan nor how many have since been evacuated. They also admitted the U.S. military does not have the capability to go out and rescue those trapped outside of the airport.

So much for planning for every contingency.
