Just last week Hakeem Jeffries said “the issue hasn’t come up,” when he was asked how House Democrats plan to address sky-high gas prices Americans are experiencing across the country.

Less than a week later, Jeffries is claiming “House Democrats are working overtime to lower gas prices.” Jeffries’ mixed messaging on the issue further exposes what a liability he has become for his caucus.
