Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly has profited from outsourcing jobs to Mexico, despite stating his opposition to the practice on the campaign trail. In the latest example of his hypocrisy, the Associated Press reports that his family company, Stewart Superior Corp. has “also received repeated shipments of goods from China for much of this decade.”

“Between 2011 and 2017, a time when Donnelly owned as much as $50,000 in company stock, Stewart Superior received more than 120,000 pounds of Chinese materials, spread out across more than 20 shipments, according to the website Panjiva, which tracks international trade. He collected dividend payments in 2016 worth between $15,001 and $50,000, according to Senate financial disclosures.”

Donnelly continues to try to paint himself as a friend to the working-class voters in Indiana and a supporter of President Trump’s policies. In reality, he is a Schumer-backed candidate, willing to stand by as his family’s company outsources jobs to Mexico and profits from Chinese imports.
