Speaker Pelosi spent the last nine months desperately trying to hold Democrats back from pursuing an impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
Despite her best efforts, it was only a matter of time before the radical elements running her party forced her hand. Without a coherent message or public support, Democrats in vulnerable districts are under immense pressure:
Politico: “In a closed-door meeting on Tuesday, multiple centrist lawmakers expressed concern that the caucus lacked clear messaging or strategy going forward, which could soon suck the air out of the move toward impeachment, according to multiple lawmakers and aides.”
