Biden Border Crisis: Illegal Crossings DOUBLE in January
The Biden-Harris administration created a humanitarian and national security crisis at the southern border — and it’s only getting worse.

U.S. Customs and Border Patrol encountered 153,941 migrants at the southern border in January, doubling January 2021 and quadrupling January 2020 numbers. That brings the total number of migrants caught crossing the border to more than 2 million since the Biden-Harris administration took office.
Fox News: Migrant encounters at the U.S. southern border increased in January, and almost doubled the number of encounters from January 2021, according to a court filing obtained by Fox News.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported 153,941 migrant encounters in January 2022. In January 2021, there were 78,414 migrant encounters.
The court filing also revealed that 62,573 migrants were released into the United States in January. In December 2021, there were 178,840 migrant encounters and 173,620 in November, according to Customs and Border Protection data.
Republicans are taking action to secure the border despite Joe Biden and border czar Kamala Harris’ incompetence. In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott is moving forward with the construction of the border wall that the Biden-Harris administration canceled in early 2021.
After Biden halted construction of Trump’s border wall hundreds of unused wall panels were left at construction sites.

Texas has obtained 1,700 of those unused panels to help build the wall.
