Cindy Axne Claims Inflation is a “Republican Narrative” to “Scare People”

Cindy Axne somehow believes concerns about rising costs are “false advertisements” and Republicans’ “narrative” to “scare people,” despite the evidence showing that the American Rescue Plan was the catalyst for today’s record-setting inflation. 

Fox News: A few days later on June 15, Axne took part in a House Democrats press conference on the Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act where she blamed “decades of bad policy making” for the inflation being felt by Americans right now.

At the same press conference, Axne noted how she hears about high gas prices “every day” from constituents back in her district and how they are having a “rough time making ends meet.”

But the real kicker is just two days after feigning interest in her constituents’ economic woes Axne goes on the radio saying, “What we do know, too, is people do have money in their pockets,” gaslighting the people she just pretended to care about.

Bottom line: Cindy Axne is false claiming that inflation is a Republican scare tactic so she doesn’t have to own up to the fact that Americans are paying hundreds of dollars a month in inflation taxes, gas prices are surging, and the American economy is barreling towards a recession as a result of the economic policies she voted for.
