It turns out that McBath is only for an open-door policy if constituents want to discuss the issues she wants to discuss, which clearly isn’t politically-driven impeachment of the President.

During a Democratic primary forum in 2018, Lucy McBath answered a question about what would be the “most immediate, concrete thing that we would see” if she were elected to Congress by saying she’d implement an open door policy. 

Moderator: “What would people in the sixth congressional district see as their immediate benefit to having you in office?” 

Lucy McBath: “Most definitely an open-door policy. As your representative in Washington, it is incumbent upon your legislator to be accountable to you with an open-door policy. 

Well, just yesterday, Lucy McBath locked the door closed on constituents who were looking to discuss impeachment with her office.
