Democrats don’t care about inflation or at least that’s the message their tax-and-spend policies are sending.

As record-breaking inflation continues to cut into Americans’ paychecks, the Biden-Harris administration and Congressional Democrats are still pushing their big-spending agenda.

NBC News: “‘Even if I thought there were a serious inflation problem, it is hard to argue that 50 years from now the question will be how did this Congress manage transitory inflation,’ said progressive Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, who said he doesn’t believe lawmakers have to choose between controlling inflation and enacting Biden’s twin spending bills. ‘The question that everyone’s going to be looking at 50 years from now is did we address the planetary crisis when we could or did we not.’”

NBC’s Jonathan Allen: “I talked to Democratic Senators, and they said ‘look, even if we believe that inflation was as bad as some folks think it is, we’d still want to do the climate change proposal, still want to do the medicare expansion, still want to do all the things that are in that $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill as well as the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.’”

Meanwhile, economists are sounding the alarm over Democrats’ big-spending agenda and the negative impacts it will have on working-class Americans.

NBC News: “‘Further spending in the aggregate, in my opinion, is going to cause a financial crisis,’ [Stanley] Druckenmiller told MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle. ‘It’s going to cause inflation, and nothing is going to hurt the poor more than that.’”

Democrat pollsters are also voicing concerns about inflation, which has proved to be a sticking point for voters.

Axios: “Celinda Lake, who polled for the Biden presidential campaign and still advises Team Biden, told Axios that worries about inflation are coming through loud and clear in both public polls and her own focus groups.”

Whitney Robertson, America Rising PAC Press Secretary: “Democrats are more concerned about satisfying activists’ political wishes than addressing voters’ concerns on inflation. This goes to show how out of touch the political left is with the challenges American workers, businesses, and families are facing every single day.”
