Dick Durbin To Bob Casey: Pro-Life Democrats No Longer Welcome

In 1992, Senator Bob Casey’s father was stopped from speaking at the Democratic National Convention over his pro-life views. Now like his father, Senator Casey is being told that he’s not welcome in the Democratic Party because of his abortion beliefs.

In a sign of how extreme the Democratic Party is becoming, Casey’s fellow Senator, Dick Durbin, said this morning that you can only be a Democrat if you support Roe v. Wade:

Senator Durbin’s extreme comments are in line with the backlash against Nebraska politician Heath Mello who’s pro-life vote spurred controversy this week. The fact that politicians like Casey and Mello are being told they’re no longer welcome in the Democratic Party shows the consequences of the growing Democratic civil war.
