DUAL CRISES: Joe Biden Relocated Thousands of Covid-Positive Immigrants in McAllen, Texas

The city of McAllen, Texas has been overwhelmed with illegal immigrants that the Biden-Harris administration relocated there. Overnight, the city was forced to construct a tent compound to deal with the surge of migrants after a local charity reached their maximum capacity. Making the situation even worse, more than 7,000 of those immigrants have tested positive for Covid since February, including 1,500 in just the last seven days.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ failing immigration policy is causing the border crisis, but Republican governors across the country, including Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott, are fighting back.

New York Post: Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott has blamed the immigration surge for an increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in the state. On Tuesday, a federal judge temporarily blocked an executive order issued by Abbott last week allowing Texas state troopers to stop vehicles suspected of carrying illegal immigrants on the grounds they might be spreading COVID-19. A full hearing is scheduled for Aug. 13.

“The Biden Administration has knowingly — and willfully — released COVID-19 positive migrants into Texas communities, risking the potential exposure and infection of Texas residents,” An Abbott spokesperson said in response to the ruling. “The Governor’s Executive Order attempts to prevent the Biden Administration from spreading COVID-19 into Texas and protect the health and safety of Texans.”
