Enveloped in Scandal, Hunter Biden Resigns from Board of Chinese Company

Once seen as the inevitable nominee, Joe Biden’s campaign has entered a free fall in recent weeks.

Beyond Biden’s anemic debate performances and constant gaffes on the trail, his family’s scandals also continue to widen. Among those scandals was the position Hunter Biden held on the board of a Chinese-backed private equity firm.

The Associated Press: “Facing intense scrutiny from President Donald Trump and his Republican allies, Hunter Biden announced on Sunday that he will step down from the board of directors of a Chinese-backed private equity firm at the end of the month as part of a pledge not to work on behalf of any foreign-owned companies should his father win the presidency.”

This move will inevitably put renewed focus on Hunter Biden receiving a $50,000 a month retainer from a Ukranian energy company, despite his notable lack of experience in the industry. It will also be interesting to see whether Joe Biden still plans for Hunter to appear on the campaign trail with him.

And we also can’t forget that James Biden is currently at the center of several lawsuits alleging he used his brother’s political clout to enrich himself, including a fraud scheme that involved the Biden Cancer Initiative.

Wherever Joe Biden goes, scandal and corruption seems to follow.
